Dell Latitude 10 tablet PC with Windows 8
Dell finalised the introduction of its first Windows 8 tablet PC in the market. The external appearance of the same resembles that of Dell Latitude ST.
According to the initial reports, this product of Dell will come with a screen of 10.1 inches and with a resolution of 1366 X 768. With optional stylus the PC will also feature touch options. From the already released online pictures, the PC can be presumed to be places safely in the large pockets of jackets.
The PC is also expected to have a commendable processing power as endowed with “Clover Trail” dual core atom processor. The RAM is supposed to be of 2GB and is thought to have a HD capacity of 128GB. The PC comes with an option either to use a 2 Cell battery of 30WHr or a 4 cell battery of 60WHr. The battery which is smaller can offer an operating time of 6-8 hrs and the larger one even more, around 10-12 hrs. This tablet PC introduced by Dell will also have an in built Wi-Fi arrangement and Bluetooth. For assisting video chats, the PC will have one 8 MP camera at the rear end and another camera of 2 MP at the front end. Stereo headphones and even speakerphones will come installed in the PC, which enhances its multimedia specifications. The tablet will also be enabled with smart features like smart card reader and fingerprint reader to add to its security arrangements. For high ended system security the PC will also have TPM and slots for locks.
This Dell Latitude tablet PC is proposed to weigh around 1.57 pounds with a thickness of 0.4 inches/10.5 mm. This PC is expected to present itself within a black frame. The price of the product is not yet specified. Dell fans might have to wait for some more time for its price and availability related information.
